Part 1 architectural assistant
at Cassion Castle Architects
Cassion Castle Architects is seeking a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its practice in north London.
We are a small design-led practice based near Finsbury Park, with an interest in subtle and crafted architecture. We act as main contractor on our projects, which will offer the right candidate a unique insight into the construction phases of works, gaining hands-on experience of the whole architectural process.
The main design-and-build project in the office is a 6000 sq ft warehouse conversion and extension in Hackney for a product design consultancy. Other design projects include a rammed-chalk paragraph 79 house in Kent, and a new-build townhouse in north London.
The position will initially be for three months, with the possibility to become permanent after.
Candidates must:
- be proficient in Vectorworks, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- speak fluent English
- be skilled at model making
- be self-motivated and passionate about good design
