Experienced Architectural Technologist
Leach Rhodes Walker is looking for an experienced architectural technologist/technician to join its London practice.
Leach Rhodes Walker is a long established architectural practice based in Manchester, London and Bucharest. We are looking for an experienced architectural technologist/technician to join the team in our London office working on commercial projects, principally hotels and aparthotels.
The practice has over a hundred employees working in architecture, interior design and visualisation. The London office currently has five staff with room for expansion.
We are looking for a team member to join our London office to assist with the implementation of various project types and to develop their skills on medium sized projects.
The applicant for the job should have some experience in the hotel, residential or office sectors, with the ability to deal directly with other members of the design team and be able to manage their own time and workload. They will report to a senior member of staff either in the London or Manchester office.
Essential requirements:
- excellent written and communication skills
- AutoCAD knowledge desirable
- knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
- ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- a minimum of five years full-time experience in the UK working on £5m+ commercial projects
- good knowledge and understanding of principles, techniques and methods used in the different types of construction
- good knowledge of Building Regulations
