JSW Realty is seeking an interior designer/interior architect to join its team in Mumbai, India.

With a diverse portfolio of residential, township and community projects, JSW Realty has collaborated with both local and foreign talent to optimize the firm’s quest to make beautiful and functional architecture a part of the Indian story.

We have a smart young team that compliments one another and culturally believes in creating balanced and gorgeous spaces. We are expanding our Interior design team and are looking for young switched on conceptual thinkers who can design and execute on-site.

Critical tasks:

• interior spatial planning and cohesive understanding of product design
• experience in all stages of the design process from concept to completion across a range of project scales
• liaising with the client and creating feasibility studies as well as design briefs, to understand the scope as well as the client’s needs and objective
• plan detailed design strategies and mood and material boards
• knowledge of sourcing materials and products from local and international markets for interior projects
• plan and create timelines for interior design projects, project budgets and Gantt charts
• capable of coordinating, executing on-site with local/international architects, structural designers, façade consultants, MEP consultants, lighting consultants, sustainability consultants etc
• deep understanding of cost, nature of development and the aptitude to manage residential as well as community developments
• create and maintain a unique material library (physical and digital) for interior and exterior applications

Desired skillset:

• bachelor’s degree in interior design or master’s in architecture with international exposure with five to seven years of experience
• reliable, focused, confident, articulate and self-directed with a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude
• must have on-site execution capability and relevant experience
• competent in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or similar 3D modelling and rendering software
• attention to detail and works with utmost accuracy and efficiency
• ability to work both independently and harmoniously in a fast-paced environment
• strong time management and presentation skills and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
