Sales/showroom manager

Gotham is seeking a sales/showroom manager to join its team in London.
Notting Hill-based furniture showroom is seeking an outgoing candidate to join our business. Job requires strong people skills and attention to detail. Must be out-going and design aware! Prior sales/design experience in the furniture industry a plus.
The focus of the position will be the day to day running of the showroom.
You will be responsible for a range of activities:
- greeting clients in the showroom
- assisting clients with design decisions and furniture recommendations
- scheduling/follow-up of customer orders and deliveries
- assisting in building pricing proposals/quotations
- general admin – entering customer invoices and payments/managing sales log
- interfacing with key suppliers and fabric houses
- distributing sales material
- assist in project-specific proposals
- website/social media updates
You will have the opportunity to get to know multiple product lines as well as suppliers and designers.
