Jigsaw Interior Architecture is looking for a full-time interior architect to join its London office on a six-month freelance contract.

To deliver project schemes for residential apartments, hotels and student accommodation. Delivering interior specification schemes and detailed design. Working as part of a small team in our London office on a temporary full time six-month contract with the possibility of a future permanent position.

Successful applicants must be able to ‘design’ and draw in 2D and 3D. Will need to design and detail to construction level in AutoCAD and SketchUp. 3D’s can be SketchUp, mixed-media or hand-drawn sketches. Must be commercially aware and up to date with specification products.

We are looking for someone with:

• at least three-five years’ experience with residential developments, hospitality and commercial – in client-facing roles
• experience of working in a team of designers meeting deadlines
• experience of managing large client budgets
• technical knowledge of AutoCAD to construction level, 2D and 3D design, detailed joinery design and 3D visualisation
• some FF&E experience preferred

We are a hardworking friendly team and expect dedication and commitment to our clients. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has an easy commute to our London office in Kennington and travel to client sites. You will be required to occasionally visit our head office in Poole, Dorset.

Experience:

• interior architect – three years
• client-facing, multiple units, large budgets – three years
• AutoCAD – three years
• residential interior design – three years
• SketchUp – three years
• 2D and 3D design – three years

Education:

• bachelor’s (preferred)
