Mid-weight interior designer
ACME is looking for a mid-weight interior designer to join its London practice.
ACME is a London-based practice operating in the fields of contemporary architecture, urban planning, interior and product design, working with private, corporate and public clients.
We are looking for a creative mid-weight interior designer with good technical knowledge and experience on hotels/hospitality, particularly on large projects with big hotel groups to work on an exciting 4* hotel project in the City of London.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- a creative eye with a strong design led portfolio, ideally with some built work and site experience
- a strong knowledge of suppliers and experience in getting quotes and creating and amending detailed schedules for FF&E, Ironmongery, electrical ironmongery, OSE, sanitary ware, fabrics and materials
- the ability to draw casegoods/furniture and think how things work
- the ability to draw interior architecture details and help produce drawing packages
- confidence with suppliers to create custom designs
- the ability to explain ideas clearly and visualise in 3d. Rendering ability is an advantage but not essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop is required. Ability to use Rhino/3d studio Max is advantageous.
