HTA Design has an opening for an architectural technologist to join its team in London.
HTA Design is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, interior design, graphic design and communications, sustainability and planning. Our focus is on creating great residential places – we have a 50-year track record of the design and delivery of better housing.
Strong technical design is essential for the successful delivery of our housing projects. We are seeking a talented architectural technologist with experience of working within the residential sector. You will be able to demonstrate a thorough regulatory and technical knowledge of residential projects, producing working drawings to a very high standard. Your role would be to work closely alongside other consultants, in preparing and coordinating construction packages including technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
Contract: permanent

To be considered, the successful candidate will have:
- a degree in architectural technology, or ACIAT/MCIAT qualification or equivalent relevant UK experience within an architectural/technical practice
- strong Revit and/or AutoCAD experience
- fast, efficient and meticulously consistent AutoCAD draughting skills
- strong technical design and detailing skills
- a thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods
- NBS specification writing ability is advantageous
- familiarity with the regulatory design standards commonly used in the residential sector
- ability to produce quality checked and coordinated comprehensive working drawings packages for design ad build contractors
- ability to take responsibility, meet project deadlines, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships
- a proven track record in delivering projects to a high technical standard
- experience in the delivery of high-density projects Stages 3-7
- experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
