Savista Developments is seeking an interior designer to join its team in Essex, UK.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, FF&E sourcing and CAD), excellent written and spoken communication skills and be able to work independently and in an organised and methodical way. We are looking for self-starters to join our design team, who have a strong creative eye and good technical knowledge. The candidate will be involved in the whole process of the design from concept to completion.

Requirements:

• minimum of three years post-graduate experience
• strong communication skills – ability to liaise with multiple manufacturers and suppliers
• fast and efficient
• proficient on AutoCAD
• knowledge of bespoke joinery, upholstery, lighting, carpets and window treatments
• knowledge of photoshop desirable
• ability to draw FF&E plans and layouts and design bespoke joinery
• strong sense of responsibility
• assess and meet client requirement through regular meetings
• manage project budget and coordinate ordering and installation
• ability to develop the initial concept and implement
