Coop Himmelb(l)au is seeking a project architect to join its team in Vienna, Austria.
Project architect
Profile:
- creation and development of overall design concepts, especially with focus on organisational and technical development and integration
- perform work on all phases of various architectural projects including concept design, design development, construction documents and specifications
- prepare schematics, design development and construction drawings
- coordinate and communicate all aspects of architectural design within multi-disciplinary teams
- work directly with clients and other professionals independently, analyze project and client requirements and develop architectural solutions to those requirements
- consultant communication and coordination
- overall design documentation management, archiving and distribution responsibility
- maintenance of in-house project file
- quality control
Requirements:
- degree holder or above in architectural design from a recognized academic institution
- a minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in an international context
- strong functional and technical understanding
- very good skills in analogue and digital tools, especially with regards to the technical project development and documentation (CAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Suite, Rhino)
- strong team qualities, structured, creative, responsible personality
- self-motivated personality and precise work ethics
- very good communication skills
- fluent in English and German (spoken and written), further languages advantageous
