Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect

Variant Office is recruiting an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or a recently qualified Part 3 architect to join its team in London.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified architect to join our expanding practice. The position requires an understanding of what it takes to design and deliver carefully crafted private residential projects and small bespoke developments through all the RIBA Stages.
We are specifically looking for designers who have worked and ideally trained in the UK.
About you
You are a delivery-focused practitioner and your design and delivery experience in the UK is evident in your portfolio. You have a deep understanding of architecture including documented experience in producing construction packages for architecture and interior projects.
You are proactive and solutions focussed who is not afraid to contribute to all aspects of our projects and practice.
You have the following skills and experience:
- passionate about design, confident in putting forward new ideas and in developing design concepts with others
- effectively collaborate with others and able to share information
- good design sensibility
- flexible, committed attitude to work
- demonstrated experience in preparing and submitting planning applications
- demonstrated experience in preparing tender and construction packages including joinery
- good knowledge of UK building regulations
- experience of the running of domestic projects of at least £200k
- fluent written and spoken English
- high proficiency in AutoCAD
- experience in Rhino and Revit
- proficiency in Adobe and MS office
