Capacity London is seeking architectural assistants in Marseille, Prague and Seville, Spain.
About us
Capacity London is a community-based training provider offering high-quality training and work experience that provides our participants with learning and employment opportunities that would not otherwise be available to them.
We’re offering a number of paid three-month work placements for architectural assistants and graphic designers in Seville, Marseille and Prague. We work within the Erasmus+ Programme.
Successful applications will receive:
- €120 per week allowance and shared accommodation (own bedroom, shared living spaces such as kitchen, bathroom, living room)
- flights to and from your host city (including airport transfers in your host city) and travel insurance
- local language tuition
- tuition on one of our vocational courses (see more info below)
- ongoing support and local pastoral care for the duration of your stay
Qualification
Alongside the work placement participants will work towards one of two vocational qualifications, either (1) Level 3 Certificate in Entrepreneurship for European Creative Industries or (2) Level 4 Award in Digital Media.
The purpose of the qualification is to provide participants with an additional set of business soft and hard skills for their future careers. There are architectural and graphic design roles associated with each of the two vocational course. Seville has work placements associated both the creative industries and digital media courses, Prague has work placements associated with the digital media course only.
Eligibility
To be eligible applicants must be currently residing within the United Kingdom and must have the right to live and work in the UK and Spain, France or the Czech Republic. Students are not eligible thus we regret we are unable to accept applications from individuals looking for year-in-industry placements.
Placements are for fixed periods of 92 days (13 weeks) and it is a requirement that you spend the full period in the host country. The departure date will be Friday 24 April 2020.
There will be three days of preparatory training in London immediately before departure to your host city. Attendance at the training is a requirement of the programme and participation is compulsory. This training will take place Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23 April.
