Luum has an opening for a graphic designer to join its team in London.
Luum and Heathfield & Co are looking for a graphic designer who is seeking a role that combines creative talent with commercial know-how.
Luum is a London-based lighting studio dedicated to the design, manufacture and delivery of spectacular lighting that stirs a sense of wonder, excitement and energy. We set out to transform interior spaces with sculptural fixtures, to capture movement and fix it in the form of light.
Heathfield & Co collaborates with interior designers to design and create exceptional products. With industry-leading knowledge we have a clear understanding of how to design, construct, and innovate decorative lighting that brings drama and magic to beautiful interiors.
In the role, you will collaborate closely with the directors, and relevant teams at both Luum and Heathfield & Co, and be responsible for developing and executing industry leading marketing strategies across both brands. The focus will be on designing, producing and delivering high calibre creative content that helps both brands stay front of mind. Beyond this, we will look to continually evolve and elevate the look and presence of both brands to meet the expectations of some of the most creative designers and architects in the industry.
We are seeking a talented and driven graphic designer who is highly in tune with the commercial and creative demands of our markets. We want you to take a hands-on approach and ensure that our brand message attracts the attention of our audience and grows our business with them. In being responsible for all creative communication you will need a developed sense of visual style, layout, colour and typography with creative skillset across new and existing digital channels. We are looking for candidates with a passion and hunger to stretch the creative boundaries in a way that pushes the brands to further success.
Role and responsibility:
- to develop and deliver our marketing strategy to our target audiences and attract enquiries into the business
- create engaging, high-quality visual content that communicates our brand values
- manage our social media accounts
- design and deliver of email marketing campaigns with a strong brand message, tone of voice and brand personality
- use data to continuously improve engagement and effectiveness of our marketing message
- day-to-day design projects: brochures, presentations, company literature and marketing and digital assets
- curate and write engaging, considered copy for emails, brochures, website, social media, blogs and general company communications
- develop and evolve the Luum and Heathfield & Co brands
- image editing for use in digital and print
- design and updates for the company website
- develop, update and manage site content and monitor information accuracy and functionality
Skills and experience:
- degree in a creative discipline such as graphic design/digital design
- outstanding design skills in Creative Suite
- strong visual and communication skills with a good ability to visualise ideas and take them through to production
- experience with CMS and e-commerce platforms
- experience with designing editorial emails
- copywriting skills, proofreading and a keen eye for detail
- excellent written and spoken English
- self-motivated, with good initiative to solve problems
- work to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
- three-plus years of working experience in relevant field
Based in our studio near Peckham with regular visits to our factory in Tonbridge we can offer a dynamic and fast-paced working environment with challenging projects and an ambitious team.
