Nöra is searching for an interior designer to join its team in Covent Garden, London.

Nöra is looking for an interior designer with previous workspace or hospitality design experience to work on a three-month-long cutting-edge project with its team in London.

The opportunity

The project requires the high-end and innovative interior design of a former factory to the workspace conversion for a blue-chip technology organisation. This opportunity will explore new concepts of workspace design and craft a forward-thinking work landscape to create a lively environment that supports and promotes collaborative culture, fostering innovation and creativity.

Concepts of agility will be explored. The goal is to achieve an environment drastically different from the paradigm, introducing and encouraging a new working style for existing users while attracting a new generation of collaborators by providing an exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

  • the interior designer will have the opportunity to work alongside Nöra’s creative director to craft the project interior concepts, look and feel, materiality, furniture and fixtures choice, space planning and detailed drawings for construction
  • the project will also touch on modifying existing architectural elements

Timeframe

This is a contract position for an initial fixed-term of three months with the possibility of extension and involvement in further projects.

Requirements:

  • curiosity and knowledge around interiors, design products, design history and storytelling
  • experience in previous workspace or hospitality design projects
  • ability to create a short, fast and visually interesting presentation
  • excellent Photoshop skills
  • excellent modelling skills on SketchUp or similar tool
  • drawing and detailing skills on AutoCAD or similar tool
  • ability to create look and feel mood boards and visualisations
  • English fluency required
