Interior design manager
Cauldwell Collection is looking for a design manager to join its team in west London.
We are seeking a design manager for an in-house design team of an established developer with a high calibre of property portfolio in the UK and overseas. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world class multi-residential unit scheme in Mayfair.

Required skills:
- minimum seven years of experience in interior design/architecture industry working within the luxury residential, development or hospitality sector
- strong drafting skills to produce fully detailed interior design packages
- good understanding of design procedures, change control, checking and review requirements
- demonstrate the ability of effective programming
- experience of managing teams to prioritise and deliver tasks to time and budget
- proven record of managing design teams
- excellent communication skills
- experience in coordination and liaison with key stakeholders, with a good technical knowledge of MEP and other required services
- have a reliable, responsible and can-do attitude with a clear attention to detail and flexible approach to achieve the best outcomes
- excellent knowledge of materials and suppliers would be desirable but not essential
Responsibilities:
- manage, programme and monitor design deliverable production process to time and budget. This role may include producing deliverables as necessary
- manage and review drawing/information issue and distribution systems
- identify and manage design deficiencies, discrepancies as all stages of design development
- coordinate and manage technical and design information with project team and subcontractors
- review consultants’ design drawings and specifications
- attend coordination and progress meetings
- manage our in-house design team in the absence of head of interiors
Salary negotiable based on experience and skills.
