FORM is seeking a senior designer to join its team in San Francisco, USA.
FORM is a fast-growing team of designers, software engineers, architects and user researchers, building a better way to buy a kitchen.
Our product ambition is to have the most elegant design experience in the industry. We use technology to simplify the kitchen design process for the homeowner. Everything is managed through an app. Our proprietary tools allow us to offer incredibly lifelike and industry-leading visuals. We are constantly improving our software to delight the customer and save our designers time.
Our brand ambition is to become the Warby Parker of kitchens, offering quality and style in a streamlined package that’s affordable. To achieve this we partnered with one of the largest manufacturers in Germany and secured funding from leading Silicon Valley investors.
What is the position?
We are overwhelmed with customer demand so are hiring kitchen design talent. We are building a tightly knit, collaborative and hard-working team of about eight designers in San Francisco.
Core responsibilities will be talking to customers, designing and selling kitchens. Ensuring customer satisfaction is our first priority – nothing is more important than this.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to everything from brand building, to improving workflows, how we present designs, business development and anything else that adds value to the client and company.
What are we looking for?
FORM is a technology design startup, you should expect a fast-paced environment. The challenges and rewards are probably greater than a typical showroom.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, inquisitive and hard working.
Prior experience designing and selling European cabinetry in the US is an advantage but not essential.
Compensation:
- expect to earn $120 – 180k+
- base $80k
- Bonus based on:
- personal performance
- design team performance
- Guaranteed $120k equivalent for the first 12 weeks
