HENN is currently looking for a senior interior architect to join its Beijing studio.
HENN is an international architecture firm with offices in Munich, Berlin and Beijing. We have more than 65 years’ experience in the areas designing, planning and realising cultural, office, science and research buildings, production facilities and masterplanning.
We are currently seeking an experienced senior interior architect to join our studio team in Beijing. We are looking for highly motivated and creative individuals who can transform conceptual thinking into a strong and consistent architectural vocabulary in exciting projects.

Tasks
- record of working in international interior design companies
- ability to think conceptually within complex contexts
- knowledge of all design phases from conception through construction
- design and supervise interior design projects throughout all phases
- with the support of the interior design team in Germany, set up and establish an interior design competency at our Beijing office
- mentor the work of your junior colleagues
- meeting, interacting and work independently with clients, consultants and LDIs
- cowork with the Beijing architectural team and closely communicate with the leading partners of HENN
- organise and manage projects across international boundaries including responding to RFPs
Requirements
- minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of interior architecture or interior design
- master’s degree in architecture and/or interior design
- record of responsibility for medium to large size interior design projects with a strong design portfolio
- broad experience in high-end and state-of-the-art projects covering corporate office-, hotel-, retail-, and residential developments
- experience with writing proposals and establishing interior design scopes of work
- familiarity with the Chinese market and suppliers (preferred) and relevant international work experience
- excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
- proficient in responding to RFPs and writing proposals
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (preferred)
