Interior architect
Kima Architecture and Interiors is looking for an interior architect to join its studio in London.
Small architecture and interiors firm, based in W1 looking for full-time experienced interior architect.
The interior architect will require at least three years experience in interior architecture in a high end residential environment, with strong technical knowledge and expertise.
You will also be organised, efficient and PC literate with excellent communication skills. A good eye for detail is a must and as well as being self-motivated with strong decision making skills. You will be working within a small team across the business so it is important you are flexible and bring an entrepreneurial flair.
The appointed person would be working heavily on the conceptual side of projects, so creativity and ingenuity will be important to show in your portfolio and ultimately in an interview.
Skills required:
- experience in high end residential/architectural interior design
- excellent flexible multi-tasker
- high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work well in a fast paced environment and closely within a team
- excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- strong decision making skills
- high level organisation and time management skills
- understanding of construction methodology and building regulations
- proficiency required in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp
- ability to prepare 3D visuals is a plus, 3dsMax (optional), V-Ray (optional), hand sketches (optional)
- fluent in English, additional languages are welcomed
- minimum three years UK working experience in this sector
