Mamou-Mani has an opportunity for a senior architect/project manager to join its team in east London.

Position: senior architect (RIBA Part 3 or equivalent)/project manager
Reporting to: managing director, Arthur Mamou-Mani

We are looking to hire a registered senior architect/project manager with five years’ experience to join our team in east London.

Responsibilities:

  • project management – managing projects and engaging with the entire process from concept to completion, including budget management, cost control and the below
  • to prepare, develop, review and edit, under the guidance of the managing director, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to relevant projects
  • to record evidence of your professional experience in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA (or equivalent as applicable eg. AIA)
  • to assist the managing director and management team as required with day-to-day studio tasks, project tasks and client communication
  • to comply with the Mamou-Mani procedures and standards as per the employee handbook

Qualities and skills required

Essential:

  • able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • evidence of excellent design understanding and attention to detail
  • good interpersonal skills and communication; the ability to manage a team of designers/architects
  • a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working, commitment to independent lifelong learning and exploration in design and fabrication
  • software skills: Rhino, Grasshopper, Archicad
  • fluency in English

Desirable:

  • the ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
  • the ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively on budget
  • experience working with and managing subcontractors
  • ability to use the following: Adobe Suite, Word, Excel, MicroStation, Asana
  • software skills: CATIA or SOLIDWORKS
  • French-language speaking
