Sergison Bates architects, noAarchitecten and EM2N are looking for a number of experienced architects to join the KANAL – Centre Pompidou project office in Brussels.
The project
The former Citroën Yser garage, one of Brussels’ landmark buildings will be transformed into a new cultural hub bringing together a Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, an Architecture Centre and public spaces devoted to culture, education and leisure.
Professional profiles
Project leader:
- at least ten years’ post-qualification experience
- substantial experience of working on large-scale, complex buildings
- experience of site construction, team management, client liaison
- ideally a Belgian national, fluent in English and Dutch or French, and familiar with the Brussels administration
Project architects:
- five years’ post-qualification experience
- experience of restoration and of working with existing buildings, and/or working with buildings for art
- experience of project co-ordination
- experience of construction detailing
- fluent in English and Dutch or French
