Island Evangelical Community Church is seeking a project manager to join its team in Hong Kong.

We are looking for an individual with proven project management experience and extensive exposure in the full building development cycle. This full time role will be responsible for managing the church redevelopment project from initial stage to completion, including the coordination and integration of design planning, contract administration, technical activities, managing external consultants & contractors and moreover ensure the project will be delivered within standard quality, schedule and budget. This position reports directly to senior management and works closely with the church ministries, board members, government bodies and professional consultants & contractors’ input and performance to meet corporate objectives.
The candidate possesses a university degree in architecture, engineering, surveying or building-related disciplines. Minimum ten years experience in planning, design and project management, five of which must be post qualification and preferably in NGO/social development projects. This individual is a member of professional bodies in the building industry in HK with sound knowledge of related ordinances, technical and professional practices. Well versed with current HK property market, construction industry developments and good professional networking. Strong managerial, organisation and interpersonal skills a must. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
