Moreau Kusunoki has an opportunity for an engineering/construction manager to join its team in Sydney, Australia.
Moreau Kusunoki was established in Paris in 2011 by Nicolas Moreau and Hiroko Kusunoki. Our strengths are drawn from their cultural duality: passion for the infinitesimal from Japan and the Western ideologies of urbanism, a breadth that is legible in all of our projects. Moreau Kusunoki has successfully participated in several international and local design competitions, including the award-winning proposal for the Guggenheim Helsinki, Sciences Po’s new campus in the historic sector of Paris, the National Museum of Lighthouses in Brest, France, and the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia.
Experience
Moreau Kusunoki is looking for a highly organised individual, ideally with an architectural/construction background who wants to focus their career in project management.
The suitable candidate must hold a relevant level of education and experience in the construction/building industry, and site accreditation. Construction experience (minimum 10 years) gained from a combination of contracting, construction management and project administration is essential as well as knowledge and first-hand experience with construction methods and processes.
Skills and responsibilities:
- leading and being a part of a project management team, working autonomously
- administering contracts, building regulation compliance, project programming, and site deliveries
- reviewing project specification and requirements
- producing and overseeing project documentation
attending meetings and liaising with the design team, engineers, site managers and sub-contractors, consultants, clients - monitoring and controlling variations
- managing post-completion on-site snagging inspections for required remedies
- smooth running of assigned projects
- proficient knowledge of all software necessary for the above tasks, including Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
- diplomatic, rational thinking and attitude
Remuneration: subject to experience
