K&H Design has an opportunity for a technical design coordinator to join its studio in London.
Run by Katie Glaister and Henry Miller-Robinson, K&H Design is a client-focused interior design studio, providing original and refined design solutions for residential and commercial projects in Britain and across the world. Meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of how people live are at the heart of all of our projects. We collaborate with craftspeople and specialists to create elegant interiors that also work hard. Good communication with our clients and suppliers underpins all of our work.
Katie and Henry are looking for an excellent technical design coordinator. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for creating and producing technical drawings to meet the standards required by our clients whilst working closely with the creative director.
- reporting to the creative director
- “professional team” facing and not “client” facing
- in this largely back-of-house role, the candidate will be extremely skilled in technical drawing (Vectorworks) and experienced in the full coordination of the drawing package
- the go-to-staff member for all designers with technical queries
- responsible for all drawing packages
- experience in the high-end residential sector and be able to demonstrate an empathy with all nuances of designing within the residential sector
- excellent organisation and project management skills
- problem solving and lateral thinking will be required
- rigorous and structured in their approach
- ability to work to deadlines
- internal programming of workload and time
