BIM manager

Gerber Architekten is seeking a BIM manager to join its team in Berlin.
We are looking for an experienced architect as BIM manager for the Berlin office of Gerber Architekten International as soon as possible.

You should bring the following qualities with you:
- completed studies as an architect or civil engineer
- at least six years of professional experience
- major experience in the management and execution of BIM projects of large scale
- BIM specific knowledge on Revit
- strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as goal-oriented, pragmatic approach
- extensive experience modelling on Revit.
- in-depth knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of running clash detection, and producing clash reports
- good knowledge of 2D/3D AutoCAD, and Rhinoceros
- excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal
- excellent organisational skills
- self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
What your tasks will be:
- overall BIM coordination of complex construction projects
- responsible for BIM standards, development, implementation, workflow and enforcement
- the coordination of BIM standards and relevant CAD standards
- creation and maintenance of the software Template files to assure standards
- automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
- provide quality control for completeness
- train and oversee the day-to-day activities to ensure BIM standards are maintained
- assist on project work – modeling and detailing
- ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project
- supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances
