Part 2 architectural assistant

Nagan Johnson has an opportunity for an ambitious full-time Part 2 architectural assistant to join its small team in London.
Nagan Johnson is an award-winning architecture practice involved in a variety of commercial, community and residential projects in and around London. Our ethos is to provide practical yet well-designed architecture. We have a range of exciting residential and non-residential projects at all work stages, with a renewed focus on sustainability.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on experience, is happy working on drawings, rendering, design – on their own or with the team. You would be working on a variety of projects all at different work stages.
This is a perfect opportunity for a proactive, reliable, organised and go-getting individual that wants to become part of a dynamic team, working online and in the office.
Required skills and qualities:
- up to five years’ experience (post-qualification)
- experience in residential buildings
- strong design and detailing skills
- excellent skills in communication and visualisation (Adobe Suite, Vectorworks, Sketch-up, Rhino and V-Ray)
- model making and hand drawing skills
- experience through all RIBA stages including in UK procurement and construction
- ability to work independently
- creativity, openness, sense of humour
- fluent in English (verbal and written)
