Freelance interior architect
at Design Command
Design Command is looking for a freelance interior architect to join its team in London.
Founded in 2013, we are an award-winning interior design studio with projects in the restaurant and bar, luxury student hotel and boutique workspace sectors in the UK and internationally. We are passionate about design and each project we work on is unique. By exploring colour, shape, and form, we aim to capture the personality of each individual space we design.
As an interior architect within our team you will be involved at each stage of project development from pitch to final handover; shaping and defining the final approach. Through your creative flair and technical skill, your designs will excite clients and consumers alike.
Please note this role is for a freelance position with the prospect of becoming permanent for the right person.
The ideal candidate must have:
- BA interior design/interior architecture degree
- experience in the hospitality and leisure sector
- excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a design team
- experience in all areas of design projects from pitch to package
- creative flair and a conceptual approach to design
- two years’ min. experience as an interior designer/interior architect
- excellent skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- UK resident status
Location: based in our offices in Islington, London you will also travel within the UK to attend project sites, suppliers and client meetings as needed
Salary: dependent on experience
