Studio McLeod is seeking an experienced Part 2 or qualified architect to join its team in London.

We are looking for an experienced Part 2 or qualified architect who is motivated and has a passion for learning and crafting beautifully sculpted buildings. We are looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of the profession i.e. the interaction of design, making and people. You will be involved in all aspects of our projects: working on mainly residential remodelling schemes and new build houses.

Required skills and experience

Please show evidence of your experience of the following within your portfolio and/or cover letter:

  • UK private residential design at all stages
  • UK building regulations and technical documentation
  • specification of materials and well-considered detailing

Preferred skills and experience:

  • fast learner able to adapt to new challenges
  • passion and understanding of how things go together
  • excellent communication skills.
  • proactive and confident, working independently and as part of a team
  • confident with production drawings
  • good presentation skills
  • well organised with good time management skills
  • confidence with Vectorworks and Twinmotion is ideal although we will offer training
  • proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Word and Excel
