WilkinsonEyre is seeking a communications coordinator to join its team in London.
Communications coordinator
General:
- supporting and directed by the head of communications and marketing
- ensuring website is updated regularly and helping generate content with reference to SEO
- assisting with events and exhibitions
- supporting social media initiatives and campaigns
- assisting with commissioning photography
- supporting external liaison with PR agency (Caro Communications)
Press/media:
- assisting with press requests and fielding them internally
- monitor and process press mentions
- maintain and update press cuttings database
Social media:
- prepare social media plans and content with graphics support as required
- post across three platforms – Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin on regular basis in line with good practice
- feedback and retweet associated posts (eg clients, consultants) as appropriate
Awards
- collate and prepare information for awards submissions
- coordinate practice attendance at awards dinners and functions
- maintain and update annual awards schedule
Internal communications:
- responsible for drafting and distributing The Week (in house weekly newsletter)
In addition the above:
- maintain and update Open Asset, the image resource platform
- respond to student requests (ad hoc)
- other administration as required
Skills:
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- excellent command of written and spoken English
- an eye for good images and graphics
- knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop essential
- familiarity/competency with social media – both technically and culturally
- familiarity/competency with content management systems
- knowledge of Open Asset an advantage
Attributes:
- confident and approachable and mature
- strong visual sense
- an unflappable ‘can do’ attitude
- a keen interest in architecture and related fields eg graphics, visual arts
- confidence to work closely with colleagues at every level
- eagerness to join the studio’s working culture and design approach
