Populous is seeking a senior interior designer to join its team in London.
Jump Studios is a collective of architects, designers, and makers, focused on challenging conventions and redefining boundaries throughout the built environment. We believe that real design innovation comes from breaking down barriers between creative disciplines.
Our core teams of architects are supported by graphic, digital and interaction designers, allowing us to bring our clients’ values and purpose to life across multiple and increasingly interrelated touchpoints. Our experience encompasses workspace, retail, exhibition, brand experience, pop-up and hospitality design for high profile clients.
Senior interior designer
Jump Studios, a Populous company, requires three senior interior designers. Responsibilities will include reporting to the principal design lead, leading smaller teams, design strategy, concept design and the production of detailed working drawings.
You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- minimum Part 2 degree qualification in architecture or interiors equivalent
- prior professional experience with a design-led practices
- a good command of the English language, verbal and written is required
- strong design and communication skills
- ability to work well individually and with prior experience running a project team
- strong organisational skills to manage a varied design workload including design strategy, concept design, and detailed working drawings. On site supervision experience is beneficial
- strong computer skills including both 2D and 3D software capabilities
- preferred: Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD
- useful: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- experience with sports, entertainment and hospitality sectors is beneficial
