Studio Ageli is seeking an experienced Part 3 architect to join its team in London.

About us

Studio Ageli was established in 2012, and works across an exciting, diverse portfolio of projects from hospitality to commercial, care and residential. Our most recently completed significant project was an 1,800 sqm, multi-use hospitality venue in the heart of regenerated Kings Cross. Current projects include an innovative, large-scale residential care development, and bespoke residential new builds and conversions in the UK and the Seychelles. We are an experienced team, within a small and friendly practice. We are based in a new, spacious office in Hackney Wick.

The role

The role is for a full-time Part 3 architect who will ideally be experienced in running jobs. You will be working across all RIBA project stages and taking a hands-on approach, working within a studio environment.

The ideal candidate

You will be resourceful, hardworking and design focused. You will have meticulous attention to detail and be well-organised, with an ability to interrogate and solve technical issues innovatively. A confident communicator, the right candidate will be able to liaise easily with colleagues, contractors, and clients. You can multitask, producing drawings whilst keeping the job running smoothly. You have the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, to best meet the demands of the project. Passion for great design and architecture is a given.

Essential requirements:

  • RIBA part 3
  • experience in managing projects, ideally across all RIBA design stages
  • ability to work accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail
  • excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • good planning experience
  • technical construction knowledge and of building regulations
  • ability to produce tender and construction packs
  • ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects
  • proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office skills

Salary: 

  • will vary between £31,500 – £36,000, depending on your experience and in line with RIBA guidelines
  • you must have the right to work in the UK
  • the role is full-time PAYE with a six month probation period
