Jo Cowen Architects is seeking an associate architect to join its team in London.
Jo Cowen Architects is an award winning architectural practice with an experienced team of architects, designers, masterplanners and placemakers based in Chelsea, London. We are looking for associate level lead architects to run teams alongside the directors, someone who is looking to make long term commitment and seeks career growth to directorship. Experience within the mixed use multi-unit residential sectors is essential, as is housing experience and job running experience. A passion for people and sustainability is essential.
Skills required:
- ability to work accurately, efficiently and to take ownership of projects
- manage and inspire the internal team/s through appropriate leadership
- manage the project expectations on fee budgets, programmes and internal resources
- strengthen relationships with existing clients and develop relationships with new and prospective clients
- develop the capability of the internal team/s through mentoring and supporting younger members of staff
- work with the directors on project budgets, progress and feedback
- five years of UK experience essential
Salary level will be dependent on experience of the applicant.
