fourth_space is seeking a Part 2/3 architect to join its team in London.
fourth_space are hiring Part 2/3 architects with design and construction experience to become part of our design team based in east London (Vyner St). Known to many as the people behind the acclaimed Negroni Talks, fourth_space also work on and deliver a fantastic range of architectural projects. This is an exciting phase in the evolution of the practice.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and ability about the technical aspects of architecture and building. We have housing, residential and mixed-use projects at various stages: feasibility, planning, tender and, on site.
As such, the role will consist of detail design, construction design and tender packages, coordination with consultants, site visits, research, and taking lead roles on projects within our studio to compliment the team.
Experience: Part 3 (minimum of three years’ post-Part 3) with experience in housing. Part 2 with at least three years on projects involving planning/tender stages on housing projects.
Skills: communication, design and presentation, detail design, teamwork, and problem solving.
Software: advanced knowledge in Vectorworks, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
