White Arkitekter is looking for an experienced architect to join its growing design team in Stuttgart.
White Arkitekter is a large Scandinavian architecture practice with an ownership structure that provides great opportunities for individual development. We are an employee-owned practice defined by Scandinavian values, knowledge sharing and inclusive thinking.
We recently opened our Stuttgart studio, and we are currently working on several projects in the field of education, transformation and timber construction. There is a tight collaboration with our offices in Sweden and the goal is to develop a robust and design-oriented studio with a mix of nationalities over the coming years.
We are currently seeking an architect to work collaboratively within the Stuttgart team and other teams within White Arkitekter, involved in all aspects of drawing production and detailed design.
A demonstrable track record of taking responsibility for accuracy and checking of the drawing work as well as coordinating of drawings amongst the team and other disciplines is essential. Systematic thinking is essential as the role demands handling complex information, interpreting design intent into efficient modeling and drawing production strategy.
The individual needs to be genuinely interested in sustainable design, keen to learn and develop their career and enjoy working collaboratively with others to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
- A few years’ work experience
- Good Revit and Adobe package knowledge is essential and skills in AutoCAD and Rhino are advantageous
- Excellent design skills
- Good knowledge of technical design as well as early design stages
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with the design team and other consultants
- Friendly and creative attitude and open-minded approach to working methods
- Eligible to work in Germany
- Language: German (C2) and English (minimum C1) are essential
- It is a merit for this position to have a successful participation and track record from competitions
