John McAslan + Partners is an international design-led studio with a wide and interesting portfolio of projects in areas including public realm, education, culture and transportation.

We are currently seeking an experienced Part 2 level architectural assistant to join our transportation studio in London. We have a track record in developing award-winning projects across multiple sectors, and this is a particularly exciting time for candidates to be exposed to high-profile projects that are at a range of stages in the design and delivery cycle.

About you

Do you have a passion for transport and masterplanning? The ideal candidate will enjoy delivering projects with knowledge of transport led development including planning commercial and residential buildings, an interest in urban design and involvement in the delivery of planning documentation.

To be considered you should be aware of requirements for delivery to BIM Level 2 on Revit or AecoSIM platforms for similar projects. The ideal candidate will have good design, technical and organisational skills and demonstrate an ability to use their own initiative and deliver to programme.

Due to the nature of these appointments, candidates with competence using AecoSim and/or Revit and 3D modelling software will be preferred; training will be provided to further your skills within the project specific requirements.  You will also be expected to be proficient with the Adobe Creative suite, SketchUp and working within a shared common data environment.

How to apply

We would encourage you to also include any personal work or projects you are especially proud of – we love to see what inspires people and what else you might bring to our team of exceptional designers.

To apply, please email your application to [email protected] quoting 2105_TRA in the subject line.
