Showroom sales manager

George Smith is seeking a showroom sales manager to join its team in London.
The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter with the experience to take ownership of a showroom and retail sales target. Confident, calm, and considered – we are looking for a team member who can run the showroom efficiently, providing luxury customer service and generating sales through a relationship building, advisory service; upselling across the furniture collection, to include fabrics and scatter cushions. This candidate will demonstrate an ability to work to target and KPI’s, an understanding of CRM systems, sales forecasting and pipeline. Experience in furniture is favourable. Reporting into sales and marketing director.
Retail sales
Responsible for:
- retail sales enquiries
- respond & follow up all phone, email, and showroom enquiries
- first responder meet and greet in the showroom
- retail quote and sales cycles – across standard, made to measure & bespoke orders
- full after-sales calls support
Sampling
Responsible for:
- retail catalogue and sample requests
- office supplies for sending out samples and catalogues
- sample maintenance – wood and fabric samples kept neat, replenished and organised
Showroom maintenance, displays and events
Responsible for:
- showroom windows and display maintenance
- showroom to be fully stocked with client entertaining basics
- stock movement – Bi-weekly load lists for movement of any furniture, accessories and samples to and from the showroom and factory
- windows and displays – place orders, plan and install windows working alongside sales and marketing director
- managing and organising showroom events
- bathroom and client kitchen supplies – flowers & cleaning contract
