Press and social media assistant
at Hopkins Architects

Hopkins Architects is currently looking for a press and social media assistant to join its communications team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning architectural practice at an important point in its development.

Based in our London office and working closely with the communications team, you will be required to help create engaging social media content and assist with implementing press strategies for a range of UK and international projects.

We are looking for candidates who have at least one or two years’ experience in a similar role, who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise their workload. Knowledge of, and interest in, architecture would be an advantage.

Main areas of responsibility include:

  • manage content schedule and posts for Hopkins’ key social media platforms (Linkedin and Instagram) in line with overarching social media strategy
  • assist with regular internal communications outputs in line with overarching internal communications strategy
  • develop and maintain a good press database
  • assist with developing and implementing press campaigns.
  • assist with developing profiles of key individuals within the practice
  • liaising with project teams to prepare project assets for press
  • manage requests for information from press, publishers, exhibition organisers
  • assist in implementing a programme of events to reach the practice’s key external audiences
  • maintain and update a comprehensive industry events calendar to include relevant organisations
  • assist with coordination and organisation of events
