Bolt Design Group is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Designer to join its team in New York.
Bolt Design Group is seeking an interior designer to join its team in Brooklyn, New York. Bolt is a team of designers, thinkers, and fabricators who work in a design and build capacity to bring a concept from the initial idea all the way through to final fabrication and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Project Manager must have the ability to manage a project team of designers, FF&E, drafters and collaboratively with push a projects through design (and construction depending upon the project)
- Complete Project ownership – concept generation – final construction/fabrication documentation – construction administration
- Lead and manage presentations – documentation – working with design team to generate project presentation decks for client review for each phase of the design process
- Correspondence with consultants (MEP, sound, lighting etc.), project team and client
- Management of project schedule and budget
Education: masters or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in architecture or interior design
Required skill set:
- knowledge of hospitality design
- knowledge of construction and construction site management
- ability to work independently
- problem solver – a solution oriented individual with an eye for clever resolutions
- detail oriented – truly meticulous and attentive to the smallest of details in all facets of a project
- collaborative – encourage idea discussion and communication amongst direct group and overall project team
