WilkinsonEyre is looking for an architectural assistant with experience of Malaysian culture and design to join its team in London.
We are seeking an exceptional talent to create and communicate a concept design for new work and for an existing Malaysian client. This unique opportunity is for candidates confident in their experience and understanding of both UK and Malaysian design styles.
A sensitive and creative approach to images and renderings with exemplary use of Lumion, Photoshop, 3D Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper will be evident in their portfolio. Experience dealing with specialised Feng Shui consultants to analyse energy flow of the design in large scale residential and commercial projects will be highly advantageous as will an interest in using Ladybug to create detailed to create detailed environmental analysis of climate data such as sun path, shadow analysis, solar envelop and thermal comfort levels.
This position does not require direct experience of later stage construction design and may appeal to candidates with varying levels of architectural experience. However, a demonstrable understanding of Malaysian culture which will strengthen our dialogue with an existing client is essential.
Candidates will need to articulately present to peers and clients alike both in verbally and in written reports, therefore impeccable spoken and written English is essential and Malaysian language is advantageous.
Position, salary, benefits and location
This is a full time, permanent position, located in our central London office and the salary offered is £30,000 – £37,000 per annum (depending on experience). Benefits include private medical care, contributory pension, group life assurance and contribution to gym membership.
