B&B Italia is seeking a retail furniture sales consultant to join its team in London.

B&B Italia is a leading contemporary Italian furniture manufacturer which is committed to:

We are looking for a retail furniture sales consultant with a background in interior design and at least two years’ experience working in a similar role to join our team. The successful candidate must be based in London, have excellent communication skills, be well presented and available to start as soon as possible.

Based in the UK flagship store in Knightsbridge. Your main duties will include:

• meeting and greeting retail clients visiting the showroom and assisting them with their selection of furniture
• assisting with product selection and preparing  schemes from design concept to completion
• preparing sales quotations and pro forma invoices
• preparing and presenting layout drawings using Autocad and Metron
• preparing and presenting mood boards and finishes
• conducting site visits, liaising with architects and contractors
• networking and building relationships with developers, interior designers and real estate agents to promote the B&B Italia brand
• maintaining contact with existing clients providing them with updates on new products and B&B Italia events
• maintaining and updating the database of clients and interior designers
• maintaining/styling and visual merchandising in the showrooms/display areas
• meeting monthly sales targets
• working hours Monday – Saturday 10 am – 6pm on a rota basis
