About the role

We’re looking for a stellar senior designer to join our in-house design team at NAS, working predominantly across digital content for a number of well-known brands. The role involves creative research, ideation, multi-platform design, art direction and reviewing digital content. You’ll be a guardian of all things quality design and standout storytelling across a variety of channels and formats.

You’ll know how to:

  • master a broad range of BVIs
  • design for specific target audiences
  • improve engagement and reach
  • work collaboratively with the editorial team
  • create compelling digital content and campaigns that stop people in their tracks
  • be confident in sharing your knowledge and skills with clients and the wider team

About you

An innovative senior designer with a minimum of five years of brand design experience. You’ll know how to apply creative innovation to push boundaries across multiple digital platforms and formats to create engaging content people are excited about.

You:

  • a naturally talented designer, known for consistently delivering work to a high standard
  • a safeguard of each brand’s visual identity through the rigorous application of the BVI to your designs – as well as creatively and strategically suggesting design developments
  • have an eye for detail and quality assurance
  • have an inherent interest in the beauty and personal care industries, and are skilled at scoping out trends and insights
  • have a passion for technological innovation and how these should inform client briefs
  • have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • have a solid understanding of a broad range of social and digital channels to create content that considers and meets these requirements, as well as pushes boundaries
  • a professional and calm communicator on production sets with clients and creatives, along with showcasing confident and creative art direction
  • a natural team player, willing to lead while valuing openness and collaboration with all team members
  • able to advise and assist junior designers as required in carrying out design work, as well as confidently reviewing and supporting the quality of their creative
  • able to develop strong relationships with new/potential clients, confidently driving conversations around design quality and constructively challenging briefs and feedback
  • able to work quickly and calmly to meet all deadlines, juggling multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to dispense design advice along the way to clients and team members
  • proactive in ensuring all streams of work are pursued and driven forward
  • a direct and clear communicator – whether updating a client, presenting ideas or briefing internal teams
  • extremely organised, with impeccable attention to detail and an ability to maintain high standards during bursts of activity
  • a sideways-thinker; thinking outside the box to discover new ideas and designs
