INC Architecture & Design is seeking an architect to join its team in New York.
Summary
INC is seeking a full-time architect (may be non-licensed) with a minimum of two years of professional experience and a B. Arch or greater; strong design skills; exceptional organizational skills; an understanding of NYC building code; with a strong interest in interior architectural design, having experience in high-end hospitality/multi-family residential projects who can work in an evolving collaborative hybrid-remote studio. You will be responsible for specific technical design aspects of projects including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions and can independently offer direction on design problems and methods.
Tasks:
- schematic blocking and planning
- building Information modeling and management in Revit
- consultant coordination and management under supervision
- rendering, video, and walkthrough production in Enscape
- contract document management and production
- product specifications production
- zoning and filing paperwork documentation, code review, and research
- participates in teams for two to three simultaneous projects at different phases of development
Requirements:
- at least two years of professional Revit experience. Please show Revit work at both design and documentation level
- candidates must be legally allowed to work in the US and have graduated from a NAAB accredited institution
- candidates should be familiar with IBC codes and regulations
Studio description
INC Architecture & Design is a multi-disciplinary architecture and design studio, with experience in a wide range of project types located in the SoHo District of New York City. Having executed high-rise residential buildings, hotels, restaurants, galleries, retail stores, private residences, and private residential interiors, the studio specializes in the integration of architecture and interior design.
