Chapman architects is looking for a Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Chapman Architects is seeking an energetic Part 2 or 3 architectural assistant, to join its friendly, award-winning RIBA chartered practice, in Bermondsey, London SE1.
This is a great development opportunity for an ambitious architect, wanting to join a small practice, with exciting career prospects.
We have a portfolio of high-end projects in and around London, mainly within the commercial sector, and to include headquarters buildings, offices, high-end retail and arts facilities. Our work encompasses both new build and the restoration of some unique buildings.
Qualifications, qualities, and experience:
- experience of working on high-quality commercial projects in London
- a strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative
- a self-starter able to progress projects through all RIBA work stages
- experience of working with contractors, and consultants
- proficiency in BIM with outstanding design and technical skills
- excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- a good knowledge of contract administration and London’s planning laws
- friendly and personable
