Al Reem Group is seeking an interior designer to join its team in Saudi Arabia.

The opportunity

Are you an ambitious interior designer with a passion for travel and luxury design? We have an opportunity for you to work for the prestigious Al Reem Group based in the Middle East. Responsible for redesigning properties (both residential and commercial), sourcing products and decor, and liaising with suppliers, this will be a fantastic opportunity to build your profile in the luxury industry. This role involves frequent travel between Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and London, and so flexibility is key.

Key skills required:

• excellent experience in interior design/FF&E for a design agency or a similar
• experience working with high net worth individuals, catering to a luxury aesthetic
• deep passion for and understanding of interior design; particularly fabric selection, application, and furniture design
• space planning experience, including product placement in both residential and commercial settings
• excellent communication and presentation skills
• attention to the finest of details
• must have excellent organisational skills, being able to perform multiple tasks, whilst managing own time
• comfortable working to tight deadlines where necessary without compromising on quality of work
• ability to logically and systematically approach tasks and/or projects, to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines and budgets
• can demonstrate high personal standards and professional behaviour, as well as cultural awareness
• working knowledge of design programmes, for example Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, (CAD would be an advantage but is not essential)

Accountabilities:

• end to end project management
• accountability for the planning, design and implementation of designs in line with briefs provided for a variety of properties (both private and commercial)
• working alongside senior individuals within the group
• working to a budget and managing expenses
• arranging travel with client and booking flights in line with budget

Please note that travel is essential for this role. Successful candidates should be available and willing to split their time between locations, primarily based in Saudi Arabia. You must be eligible to work in this location.

• salary of £30-35k equivalent (please note that as you will be employed overseas, this amount will be equivalent of the net salary)
