The Manser Practice is seeking a Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join its team in York, UK.

The Manser Practice is an architecture and interior design studio with a reputation for quality. Evolving from our DNA of innovative modernist houses in the 1960s, we now work on all types of projects – big, small and everything in-between – from concept to completion.

Part 1 applicants should be able to demonstrate:

• strong design and presentation skills
• be able to demonstrate some technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
• excellent spoken and written English
• ability to work independently and in teams
• good organisational and time management skills
• Be readily available to work in the UK in our York office

Part 2 applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the above plus:

• familiarity with UK building regulations and the UK planning system
• experience working on projects from RIBA Stages 3/4 to completion
• an ability to coordinate and produce high quality technical information
• previous experience and involvement with healthcare, public or institutional projects is desirable

Software skills:

• Revit, Adobe Suite
