Experienced installation/environment designer
at Immersive
Immersive has an opportunity for an experienced installation/environment designer to join its busy London team.
Long-term project-based placement.
Immersive require the services of a London based experienced installation/environment designer, to come up with concepts and designs for audio-visual installations and content.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in storytelling, spatial design and a good understanding of animation and film. Would have previous experience designing shows, museums, pavilions and expos. Have a good technical understanding of the following creative technologies: projection (projection mapping & holograms), LED, kinetic sets, audience interaction tech.
The position would be client facing, working as part of a wider international creative team, would involve being based at the Immersive London studio ( London Bridge ) but also regularly traveling to production workshops and site visits.
Would report directly to Immersive executive director and also to the executive producer of the project.
Applicants need to meet these basic criteria to be considered:
- London-based (on site in studio)
- have a very solid portfolio of relevant work
- be able to travel regularly
