Canice Architects is seeking an architectural technician/technologist to join its team in Kilkenny, Ireland.
Canice Architects are a growing, dynamic, design-led RIAI registered architectural practice based in the medieval city of Kilkenny, Ireland. We are seeking an experienced architectural technologist to work on an exciting broad range of projects in the hospitality, heritage, office and residential sectors nationwide. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to work independently or as part of a design team on architectural projects from planning to completion including site experience. Salary is subject to experience.
Role and responsibilities:
- providing technical assistance and guidance with projects from inception to completion including site stage
- produce high quality technical and construction drawings
- preparing drawings, specifications and documents for statutory approvals
Required skills and experience:
- fully qualified architectural technologist with recognised qualification
- a minimum of five years’ experience in professional practice
- knowledge of building regulations, construction technology, planning policy and procurement methods
- strong technical design ability
- ability to work in a team environment and on own initiative.
- full driving licence
- site experience desirable
