Part 1 or 2 architectural assistant
at Guttfield Architecture
Guttfield Architecture is looking for a motivated assistant to join its growing team in Berkshire, UK.
We have a growing workload of one-off houses and extensions, both in the Thames Valley and London, at a variety of stages.
We are looking for someone with great draughting, presentation and 3D skills who is also keen to develop their technical understanding of how houses are put together.
As a key member of a small design-led practice the role offers:
- practical experience across all stages
- competitive salary (living wage minimum)
- mentorship for RIBA Part 3 studies
- no long hours – 6pm finish weekdays, 5pm on Fridays
Job requirements:
- RIBA Part 1 or Part 2 qualification
- fluency operating Microstation or AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop
- daily travel to Twyford, Berkshire (approx. 35 minutes from London Paddington, will be part of Crossrail)
- fluent spoken and written English
- eligibility to work in UK
