dRMM Architects is looking for a studio manager to join its London-based practice. 

Studio Manager, London SE1

dRMM Architects is an award-winning, design-led studio based in London Bridge. We are an international team working on a diverse and exciting range of projects.

We are seeking an experienced studio manager who is enthusiastic, organised and motivated. This role encompasses all studio and facilities administration, including some HR and ICT responsibilities. The ideal applicant will have proven experience in a similar role and will be practiced in managing a team of support staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong team leadership expertise and the ability to work under their own initiative.

Key responsibilities:

  • studio operations – managing services contracts, facilities
  • studio administration – managing the administrative team, reception, day to day running of studio
  • HR – administration of HR data processing, annual review process
  • ICT – lead contact for ICT consultants and management of internal ICT issues
  • personnel – assisting directors with recruitment, induction and implementation of our health and safety policy
  • finance support – working with associate director to manage studio budget
  • previous experience in a similar role is essential, as are robust multi-tasking skills and extreme patience

The successful candidate will have excellent English communication skills, be well-organised and have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team.
