Laplace is seeking a junior interior architect to join its team in Paris.

Laplace is seeking a motivated, talented and ambitious junior interior architect with a minimum of three years’ of professional experience to work in its Paris office on high-end residential architectural and interior projects.

Candidates will assist our project teams in our high-end architectural and interior design projects and should be excellent team players.

Profile:

• brings a distinctive design perspective, with a strong sense of creativity and innovation
• demonstrates a genuine passion for architecture and interior architecture, with a thoughtful and sensitive approach to design
• has a solid knowledge of contemporary art
• is able to develop and clearly present compelling architectural concepts
• shows a keen interest in architectural detailing, interior fit-outs and bespoke furniture, with a desire to keep learning
• proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and Enscape is mandatory
• proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce graphic visualizations for final presentations
• produces architectural plans, schedules, specifications and other construction documentation for use by local teams, contractors and trades
• can monitor project changes and communicate information effectively with contractors and consultants
• is confident, well organized, detail-oriented and proactive
• demonstrates strong technical and presentation capabilities
• is diligent and rigorous, able to prioritize effectively and manage time independently

Employment requirements:

• three–five years of relevant professional experience
• holds an EU passport
• based in Paris or able to relocate at short notice
• fluent English is mandatory, with proficiency in French
• Spanish proficiency is an advantage but not essential
• previous experience in UK would be an advantage
