Trivandi is seeking an associate director to join its team in London.
Trivandi is a global leader in the design, delivery and operation of major events and venues. We are looking for a senior level architect to join our growing design studio as an associate director.
We are an ambitious company that has signed over 100 contracts in the last 8 years to deliver highly prestigious events, venues and infrastructure projects in 22 countries around the world. Trivandi is headquartered in London UK with regional offices in Dubai and Qatar.
We have worked on major events such as Olympic Games, Super Bowl, Commonwealth Games, FIFA World Cup, World Expos, as well as venues including the Eden Project, QPR FC, Peterborough United FC, Brentford FC, Twickenham (RFU), Urban Adventure, the London Olympic Park and London Stadium.
We are currently engaged in the design and development a number of high-profile venues and stadia projects including work with Premier League, Championship and European football clubs and a number of large-scale masterplans and visitor destinations.
Key responsibilities:
- lead the development of multiple projects in the design studio
- manage design teams and complex client, consultant, and stakeholder groups
- work with the senior team to win new work and build new client relationships
- contribute to the management of the design studio and wider office
- recruit, mentor, and train new and existing staff
- input to the financial management of projects
- continue to build design studio capabilities
- ensure design quality standards are met
Personal skills and experience:
- ARB registered architect with a minimum of five years’ post-Part 3 experience
- strong design skills aligned to practical operational and commercial knowledge
- experience of delivering projects in the sport, leisure, and entertainment sectors
- excellent communication (written and verbal) and people management skills
- detailed knowledge of statutory requirements and best practice in venue design
- highly proactive, resourceful and self-motivated
- confident with proven leadership experience
- an entrepreneurial spirit
Salary range £65,000 – £75,000 plus benefits package. We operate a flexible working arrangement where we ask our team to be available to come into our London office for two to three days a week to meet project and client requirements, with the remaining time spent working from home.
