Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo is seeking a Part 2/3 architect to join its team in London.
Independent from the start and still firmly rooted in hospitality, WATG is a global multidisciplinary design firm attuned to the unique needs of destination design. Comprised of five collaborative studios—strategy, planning, architecture, landscape, and Wimberly Interiors—WATG has been designing landmark destinations since 1945, shaping timeless spaces and places that span the globe. We are a team of 400 creative professionals across three continents with offices in California, Honolulu, New York, London, Singapore and Shanghai.
The London office of WATG is hiring a number of architecture roles. These positions will have a hybrid work schedule with days in the office and work from home days.
Summary of position
RIBA Part 2/3 architect
Two to five plus years of experience. The architect position is responsible for assisting the senior project architect and project architect in designing medium to large-size projects. The architect position assists in the development of the project design, production of presentation drawings, sketches and assists in solving design complexities. This individual must demonstrate creativity and good design judgement.
Skills, qualifications and experience required:
- RIBA Part 2/3 qualification
- good experience designing mid-large size hospitality and/or mixed-use architectural projects
- good experience working with Revit required
- proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, and Enscape is a strong bonus
- proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, and Indesign is essential
- presentation skills required and the ability to travel
- international project experience required
